WAR AND EASTERN ORTHODOXY.

THEIR THEOLOGY ON WAR:

​

The Eastern Orthodox religion is not clear in it's theology like the Roman Catholic religion is. If it was thousand of Orthodox Christians in Putin's army would not follow him into war. The Catholics make it clear they believe Jesus taught us to fight in "just war" as outlined in the "Rules of Just War" compiled by their theologists. The truth is the Catholics ignore the fact their teachings on this subject sound more like the teachings of Barabas than Jesus, Saint Stephen or Saint John the divine.

The strange oxymoronic teaching of Orthodoxy is this:

 

1) Killing in wars is a sin. (I will prove this is their teaching later)

So far, so good. Unlike Moses Jesus did not teaching killing in the new and better covenant,

This now leaves the Orthodox church with a big dilemma. It means Orthodox countries could be easily invaded, and that all that gold and silver and objects of art and idolatry in their Cathedrals and churches could be stolen. What can they do?

2) The problem is solved by Orthodox rites, rituals and fake priestly powers.

You will see Orthodox clergy blessing the soldiers standing on parade, who they say are about to sin by killing in wars. They also bless their weapons. They perform the so called  "divine liturgy" but that is not all. The Orthodox Church magnanimously forgives the sins of the soldiers, which rite they say they are empowered to do. And so the dilemma is solved by spiritual witchcraft, by doing incantations, rites, rituals, throwing about holy water, performing the liturgy, invoking the Holy Ghost, and then ritualistically forgiving the sin of fighting in wars. Problem solved. Like so many other of their teachings it is an Orthodox oxymoron, an infallible heresy.
