The Scarlet and Purple Apostasy.
The Scarlet and Purple heresy of Constantine the Great:
Apostolic Succession - the long list of bogus bishops offered to us by the Orthodox and Catholics is actually USEFUL to Evangelicals from the time of Constantine onward, when the "Scarlet and Purple" heresy of melding religion with state violence began (see Rev 17), and the bogus churchianity religion really began to take off, and morph into what it has become today. When you actually start to look at the earlier bishops on their lists, especially in the first century, you will find almost no evidence huge numbers of them even existed as bishops, or had provably similar views to the Orthodox, and the new testament bishops were entirely NOTHING like them.
The word Oikoumene - under the Roman Empire, came to refer to civilization as well as the secular and religious imperial administration. see also ecumene / oecumene. The Greek word οἰκουμένη appears in the new testament Greek of the Textus Receptus Greek 15 times, and is usually translated "world". This is very significant to the Scarlet and Purple heresy, indeed the use of the word οἰκουμένη to refer to quote "the secular and religious imperial administration" is practically an admission it was Constantine who corrupted the Faith with this. eg.
And the great dragon was cast out (5681), that old serpent, called (5746) the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth (5723) the whole world: he was cast out (5681) into the earth, and his angels were cast out (5681) with him.
it may take on a very specific nature therefore of God judging the Earth, as the KJV translates it as Earth in Luke 21:26. Could this be a clue about the wrath of God, that they have tied secular and religious power together after the death of the Apostles, and have totally warped Romans 13?
Men's hearts failing them (5723) for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on (5740) the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (5701).
Romans 13 is very misunderstood and is linked to Genesis 6:11
quote: "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence." In Romans 13 God is telling us he uses Governments in general to stop the kind of violence and anarchy that was before the flood, if you read the end of Romans 13 it says he is using them to stop things like drunken rioting in society. It is not repeat not saying the Governments are righteous. What? The Roman Government righteous? This theme of God using the wicked to do his will appears many times, including Nebuchadnezzar, Pharaoh, and the Assyrian in Isaiah 10: 5 & 15.
The typing together of religious and secular power has led to devastating bloodshed throughout the centuries by Orthodoxy and Catholicism, who murdered, tortured, imprisoned, ostracised and persecuted true believers just for "denying the real presence" or accepting Christ as "only Saviour of the soul".
The Emperor Constantine the Great was behind the heresy of combined "scarlet and purple" power (religious and secular power)........ (under construction"

"And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!" Revelation 18:6
It was Constantine the Great who tied Political Government and religious power together, and was the model for the Popes later on. Saying the original Apostles combined The Faith and Political Power and reigned is a farce. This move into combining violent political power with religious power paved the way for the complete butchery of The Crusades, The Holy Inquisition, The Conquistadores, witch burning, heretic burning, sinner executions, and other Christless violence against God's Love and Peace commandments.All this is in the Book of Revelation 17:4 "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour" purple being political power and scarlet religious power, and the butchery it led to rapidly in the next verses, in Revelation 17: 6 "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:" and 18:24 "And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth." The enthrone Constantine prefigures the Popes in the future who have turned religion into an empire building machine, ruling with cruel butchery. So called Saint Constantine the Great, whom Orthodoxy claim is a saint "Equal-to-the-Apostles", further widened the divide between true non violent believers and Orthodoxy.
